TECHNOLOGISTS (Kuala Lumpur)
Responsibilities:
- As TECHNOLOGISTS you will assist engineers in operations surveillance activities, engineering investigation and analysis, production and facilities optimization, database management/ mining and cost and schedule support. While the positions are based in Kuala Lumpur, occasional travel to work sites including offshore and fabrication sites will be necessary. Specific positions for which vacancies exist are as follows:
FACILITIES TECHNOLOGIST
Perform surveillance activities in the area of oil and gas separation, metering, water and oil treating, gas dehydration, safety systems and process controls.
MACHINERY AND RELIABILITY TECHNOLOGIST
Perform surveillance activities in the area of mechanical equipment including major turbines and reciprocating engines, valves, pumps, compressors and industrial gas/diesel engines.
CORROSION AND MATERIALS TECHNOLOGIST
Perform surveillance activities and assist in the development of corrosion control and monitoring, structural and equipment inspection programs.
RESERVOIR SURVEILLANCE TECHNOLOGIST
Perform surveillance activities in the area of oil and gas reservoir management, well test monitoring, daily production updates and reservoir key performance indicators. Will also be involved in production optimization activities working with offshore field personnel to maximize production.
SUBSURFACE / WELLWORK TECHNOLOGIST
Perform surveillance activities in support of wellwork planning, scheduling and execution, budget management, contract administration. Will also work with offshore field personnel to coordinate and monitor status of wireline, well servicing, and coiled tubing operations.
Requirements:
- Must possess a Diploma in Engineering; new graduates are encouraged to apply (with minimally CGPA of 3.0)

- Able to work independently as well as in a team
- Possess good English (oral and written) communication skills
- Possess good analytical and coordination skills
