1.Executive - Administration, Group Risk Management
Responsibilities:
- Responsible to execute all risk management programs planned by the Risk Advisor / CRO.
- To coordinate and direct high level administrative duties such as personnel records and budget preparation for all GRM members.
- To manage and update files, documents, records and reports digitally for efficient retrieval, compilation and backup.
- To assist the Risk Advisor/Senior Executive in risk awareness activities, trainings, knowledge sharing and facilitations.
- To organize quarterly GRMC meetings and perform secretarial duties to the Committees including assisting Risk Advisor/Senior Executives to manage risk dashboard progress status quarterly for GRMC and BRMC.
- Co-ordinate and consolidate risk reporting activities from various subsidiaries/business units for group risk consolidation prior to the report submission to the Committees.
- Assist Risk Advisor/Senior Executive in developing and implementing systems, policies and operating procedures in areas such as workflow and reporting procedures including liaison with internal and external business contacts.
Requirements:
- Posses Degree in related Business Expertise.
- Minimum of three (3) years working experiences in related field, preferable with Automotive Industries exposure.
- Minimum one (1) year exposure of Enterprise Risk Management.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office applications.
- Able to conduct & facilitate risk profiling for Proton Domestic / overseas subsidiaries.
- Able to work under critical time & situation.
- Able to prepare and deliver risk reports for the Committees in timely manner.
- Able to administer SAP application and facilitate department best interest.
2. Engineer - Product Planning
Responsibilities:
- To plan, manage and integratecross functional activities in a product development processes from project initiation to market launch
- To conduct weekly project status meeting
- To get approval of project master schedule from all departments
- To assist project manager in preparing project status report
- To assist project manager in managing and enforcing each gateway the deliverables according to NPI guidelines
- To evaluate and report delays and risks to Project Manager
- To assist Project Manager in project risk assessment and mitigation efforts
- To continuously develop core competency in project and risk management
- To participate in all staff development training program
- Carry out directions/ instructions from Senior Manager/ board of Directors as per business requirements from time to time
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering (Automotive, Mechanical, Industrial) or other relevant fields
- Minimum 5 years working experience, preferably in engineering and manufacturing
- Sound knowledge in engineering and manufacturing processes preferably in automotive industries
- Good interpersonal, communication and human relation skills
3. Manager - Media, Editorial and Content Management
Responsibilities:
- To plan, develop and implement strategic Media Relations and Communications programs to support PROTON’s commercial objectives and social agenda including identifying scale of communication program, its approach, suitable media and mediums.
- To supervise the implementation of Media relations and Communications programs and activities, and the production of the other promotional materials and collaterals.
- To manage, supervise and edit all editorial assignments encompassing various internal and external communications, publications and write-ups, as well as speeches for key senior personnel.
- To proactively manage and assess arising issues and crisis, and to develop and implement accurate and appropriate strategic crisis management plans to maximize communication value and neutralize negative PR impact.
- To manage and oversee the contents of information made available to public via electronic and publication medium.
- To supervise and coordinate with team members and collaborate with relevant business units within the company to ensure implementation of communications programs are in accordance with the company’s goals and objective.
- To assess situations, determine strategic approaches and develop appropriate and accurate materials that are in line with the company’s communications strategy.
- To manage the implementation of innovative and strategic communications activities using all mediums available that will deliver increased awareness and promotions among the media, stakeholders and general public.
- To organize, implement and supervise the execution of the overall communication strategy for developing and maintaining PROTON’s audience through effective use all appropriate medium channels
- Work closely with the team and other players within the organization in the design, implementation and facilitation of the annual PR plan for the company.
- Plan and administer the Media Relations operational budget; work closely with team members from other relevant departments and division to gain better benefits.
- Messaging, positioning and creation of high quality, professional communication initiatives, back by the promotional materials and tools in keeping with the company’s equity in the market.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mass Communications, Law, English or other relevant fields
- Minimum 4~7 years of experience in managing media, editorial and content management
- Very high proficiency in language especially in English

4. Assistant Company Secretary, Group Secretarial & Compliance
Responsibilities:
- Attending meetings and to take down minutes thereof;
- Liaising with the Company Secretary / Corporate Representative of companies outside the Company and out of Malaysia;
- Preparing, coordinating and organizing Board of Directors, Committee and Shareholders Meetings (Annual General Meeting & Extraordinary General Meeting) for PROTON Group of Companies;
- Drafting and preparing notices / agenda of meetings;
- Drafting skeleton minutes and minutes of the meeting;
- Follow-up action on matters decided during the meeting with the relevant parties;
- Compiling and sorting out Board Papers from various personnel of each company;
- Carry out directions / instructions from Senior Management / Board of Directors as per business requirements from time to time;
- Drafting and preparing resolutions / statutory documents ( E.g. allotment of shares, appointment of new directors, dividend payment, etc);
- Maintaining statutory records, including but limited to Members Register Book, Register of Directors, Secretaries and Managers, Register of Directors Interest and Shareholdings, Register of Substantial Shareholders, Minutes Book etc;
- Ensure timely and accurate lodgment / submission of statutory documents to relevant authorities in compliance to Companies Act and other relevant laws;
- Review the Memorandum and Articles of Association of PHB and other PROTON Group subsidiaries in compliance of Bursa Listing Requirements, Companies Act 1965 and other Best Practices;
- Prepare and coordinate the documentation for the restructuring of MARCO Corporation and Project Tiger II;
- Assisting the Compliance Officer in the preparation of PROTON Annual Report, Circular to Shareholders and announcement;
- Liaising with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM), Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (BM), Securities Commission (SC), Lawyers, Auditors, Stamping Office etc to ensure all documents prepared are complied with the requirement;
- Liaising with top and middle management from other departments and assisting them to ensure the transaction made complied with the relevant governmental authorities (ie Malaysian Companies Act, 1965, Listing Requirements of BM, the Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance, Guidelines of the SC, CCM)
- Supervising subordinates in all aspect of secretarial matters for PROTON and its subsidiaries to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory authorities; and
- Maintaining safe custody of the Common Seal and safekeeping of any legal instruments of the company.
Requirements:
- Degree in Corporate Administration or ICSA or similar discipline or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of company secretarial experience with at least 1 years experience under public listed companies’ exposure.
- Must be familiar with Companies Act, 1965 and the requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.
- Self motivated with ability to work independently and in teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of English, spoken and written.
5. Executive - Technical & Field Services
Responsibilities:
- Handling Technical feedback from distributors – product Quality report and customer complaint
- Coordinate Investigation activity (problem definition) & feedback to related party/dept/ plant for Product Quality improvement
- Provide technical support to distributors in handling customer complaint
- Coordinate joint investigation activity between Distributors and Vendors
- Managing feedback to distributor through Service Bulletin/ Newsletter
- Managing market Recall campaign and service fix
Requirements:
- Degree in Automotive or Mechanical or other relevant fields
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience, preferably in the automotive industries
- Good analytical skills and experience in problem solving and handling Product troubleshooting
- Good knowledge of power point presentation and
- High proficiency in communication
- Knowledge in Automotive component know-how

6. Section Manager - Human Resource IT, Group ICT
Responsibilities:
- To supervise and manage the SAP HR Implementation and functional support for:
- o Payroll, Time, Leave Management
- o Employee Interaction Centre & Benefit Admin
- o Organizational Management
- o Personal Administration
- o Employee Self-Service (ESS)
- To analyze business processes and performs needs assessments in an effort to align information technology solutions with business initiatives
- To interpret business needs and translates them into SAP system requirements
- To write business specifications and forwards to technical staff for system development
- To interpret systems specifications to develop, maintain and support automated business processes
- To provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements
- To configure system settings and option, plans and executes acceptance testing and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements
Requirements:
- Degree in Information Technology or in other related fields with C.G.P.A of 3.0 and above
- Minimum 5 years experience in the following:-
- o Functional design, implementation or application support experience in SAP HR modules
- o System analysis, development/configurations, implementation and post production support working experience in either of the following modules

Responsibilities:
- To ensure the delivery of high quality candidates by screening and assessing applicants according to the business requirements and candidates suitability.
- To ensure staffing requirements are fulfilled in timely manner to maximize company's operational capabilities
- To identify and implement best practices and continuous improvement on all recruitment drives with cost-effectiveness
- To manage and coordinate staff movements and placements.
- To prepare periodical and ad-hoc reports for Management.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess a Degree in any discipline with at least 3 years related experience in a manufacturing industry

8. Senior Executive - Digital Marketing, Group Marketing & Branding
Responsibilities:
- Drive the growth and development of Proton’s social media interaction and services , including the overall management of online media communications and services
- Oversee the Proton’s e-marketing efforts including supervision of website design and maintenance programme. Heighten the usage of the web for various programmes, promotions and collateral. This will include the e-booking engine, e newsletter, e-packages and other relevant e-programmes
- Drive the planning and development of web strategies, maintenance, partnerships and activities. Management of web agencies and partners
- Drive the growth and development of Proton’s online presence , including the overall management of web , intranet and social media presence
Requirements:
- Possess a degree in relevant field with minimum 8 years of experience in web and marketing

- o Assist in facilitating ISSD conducting AMLO market QFD survey
- o Integrating Engineering and Marketing in formulation of product development strategy
- AMLO INDIA BOM TARGET
- o Identify and leverage globalisation activity for components /parts/system throughout AMLO countries
- Maximize quality, efficiency and capacity utilization of resources
- o Plan for manpower requirements and recruitment
- CAPEX and OPEX management
o Plan and acquire Non project CAPEX and OPEX during AMP preparation

10. Executive - Events, Visits, Exhibitions & Trade Shows
Responsibilities:
- To execute and implement strategic Events, Visits, Exhibitions & Trade shows program to support PROTON’s commercial objectives.
- To execute all programs under the department under the department encompassing various events and special projects.
- To proactively assess arising events and trade shows opportunities to maximize the company’s brand value and image
- To work with team members and collaborate with relevant business units within the company to ensure implementation of communication programs are in accordance with the company’s goals and objectives.
- To execute the planned communication programs to create awareness and cultivate more interest among the stakeholders
- To work closely with the team and other players within the organization in the design, implementation and facilitation of the annual corporate event plan for the company
- To undertake other duties as required.
