LEAD ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTANT, OIL & GAS (Kuala Lumpur)

Responsibilities:

  • The environmental team based in Kuala Lumpur has a diverse range of clients and the team work on projects that are diverse and challenging. The team is now seeking Lead Environmental Consultant to support the expanding business. The responsibilities and requirements for this role are as follow:
  • Setting and implementing direction for environmental consulting projects for international oil and gas clients, including ESHIA, environmental audits and due diligence
  • Support environmental consulting services to the industrial, infrastructure and power sectors
  • Provision of environmental engineering inputs/ advices
  • Working across WorleyParsons business units/ geographic locations to develop environmental business opportunities
  • Mentoring and coaching junior members of WorleyParsons’ environmental team

Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications
  • At least 7-10 years experience in environmental consultancyStrong ESHIA project experience in the oil and gas sector, marine sector is preferable
  • Experience in oil spill modelling, produced water modelling etc would be an added advantage
  • Environmental project management skills
  • Excellent report writing skills. Fluency in both written and spoken English is essential
