Job Vacancy Sook Oil Palms Sdn Bhd

Sook Oil Mills is a subsidiary of a plantation business comprising palm oil estates and a mill, primarily in Johore, Sabah and Indonesia. In order to support the expansion and growth of our Company in Sabah, we invite suitable candidates to fill the following position:

ASSISTANT FINANCE MANAGER (Regional Office, Keningau)

Responsibilities:

  • General Accounting Administrative and Book-keeping functions
  • Supervise the daily finance operations and credit control functions.
  • Liaise with branch offices to implement company policies and procedures.
  • AssistBranch Manager in cash flow management.
  • Assist in preparation of full set of accounts, handle inter-company  & bank reconciliation
  • To perform other duties as and when delegated

Requirements:
  • Recognised degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Those without required qualifications but have a minimum 5 years work experience in a similar position are also encouraged to apply.
  • Must be Computer literate  – Microsoft Office and Accounting systems
  • Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is essential
  • Good team player, with excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Strong accounting knowledge, and attention to details.
  • Independent, well organized and conscientious in meeting deadlines
