1. Grocery Ordering Analyst

Job Description :
  • To forecast and order stock so that customers can consistently get ‘what they want’ for fresh.
  • To order the correct level of stock at the right time so that Distribution Centers can deliver to Stores at the right time and minimize waste.
Skills Required :
  • Diploma/Degree in a quantitative/science field such as Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical skills, meticulous, detailed and numerically inclined.
  • Advance knowledge and competency in Microsoft Word, Access and PowerPoint applications is a must. Knowledge of software such as SQL and SAS will be and added advantage.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills in English.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Self-motivated, a good team player, disciplined, committed and able to work under pressure.
2. Chargeman (Based at Northern Region)

Job Description :
  • Lead and manage a team of Technicians to ensure building services and store equipments are working in good conditions
  • Carry out repairs and preventive maintenance work accordance to the plan
  • Maintain equipment according to the risk assessment standards and act quickly on any issues
  • Monitor 3rd party contractors and ensure adhere to the safe and legal routines
  • Conduct safe and legal routine checks as per Health and Safety Policy
  • Maintain engineering store area and plant rooms to ensure tidiness and safe access
Skills Required :
  • Posses Chargeman BO Certificate by Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Manufacturing, Building Management or Retail Operations, knowledge in maintenance & services
  • Customer oriented, a team player, able to work independently and good interpersonal & leadership skills
  • Able to work under pressure and in a fast changing environment
  • Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English
  • Willing to work on shifts/public holidays/weekends
3. Chargeman (Based at Central Region)

5. Events Manager

Job Description :
  • To deliver a world class set of events into Tesco Malaysia that excites and interest customers and creates incremental sales for the business.
  • Define each event in the Seasonal aisle and Power Aisle 2 and work with Commercial, Marketing, Visual Merchandiser and stores to create industry leading ranges, promotional mechanics and displays.
  • The overall event delivers: A product improvement YOY, innovation YOY, is operationally simple to deliver and delivers financial improvement.
  • Manage the end to end process of events and ensure critical path is met and delivers a product sign off on time which delivers to the buying brief and step changes the event YOY.
  • Define buying brief for each event that incorporates financial data, key purchasing trends, concept and line details by maximising sales space.
  • Analyse promotions performance and capture learnings and work with Visual Merchandiser and Merchandise Planner on concept and display of products.
  • Works with the corporate POS team to deliver a POS package to sign post each event and deliver PR plans for relevant events.
Skills Required :
  • Minimum Degree in any discipline, with experience within a retail and/ or multi-site consumer business.
  • Possess strong numerical skills, analysis and decision making, planning & organizing, managing performance and managing change skills.
  • Experience in process development or programme management.
  • Have great influencing skills with good command of English & Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Customer-focused, self-driven and able to work independently and in teams.
  • Able to communicate effectively with all levels, a strong team player, proactive and able to perform under pressure.
