Accountant (Johor - Kluang)

Responsibilities:
  • Performing detailed financial and/or management accounting and reporting.
  • Assignment of specific responsibilities including overseeing subsidiary companies.
  • Other ad-hoc assignments on an on-going basis.
Requirements:
  • A member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) with a Degree in Accounting and/or professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CA or its equivalent.
  • Ability to handle and/or prepare full set of accounts.
  • Sound technical knowledge of Malaysian and International Financial Reporting Standards.
  • Responsible and self-motivated with full commitment, dedication and willing to work long hours and under pressure to meet stringent deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and also a strong resourceful team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • High degree of maturity, integrity and initiative.

SENIOR PROCESS ENGINEER (Johor - Kluang)

Responsibilities:

OVERALL FUNCTION
  • To be responsible for the process control
  • To work closely with the Projects team and assist in the implementation of all projects including commissioning
  • To be responsible for the risk assessment and recipe changes
  • To ensure that all Management of Change procedures are complied
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • To lead team of engineers providing process support to the Technical, Operations and Projects departments
  • To oversee the ongoing maintenance, development and back up for the DCS system and provide out of hours coverage for process related issues
  • To assist in monitoring the daily plant performance by using the Plant Improvement, RAMCO and plant turnaround data and to provide the monthly summary report on process control performance and disturbances
  • To work closely with the Technical, QC and Operations teams in conducting investigations into the process related issues and recommending ways to resolve the issues using SPC, Multivariate and other root cause analysis techniques
  • To provide support to the Projects team for process and Programmable Electronic System (PES) related projects including design intent, HAZOP, Risk Assessment, etc.
  • To evaluate, validate and authorise risk assessments and recipe changes to both existing main plant recipes and scale up of new products development
  • To assist in implementing and commissioning new projects and/or process trials and ensuring that all Management of Change (MOC) procedures are adhered to
  • To submit Progress report
  • To comply with the Site SHE and QMS procedures

Project Engineer (Johor - Kluang)

Responsibilities:

OVERALL FUNCTION
  • To be responsible for the project management
  • To be responsible in the implementation of all projects
  • To ensure all legal requirements are complied
  • To ensure the project expenditure are within budget
  • To assist the Senior Manager, Projects in specific assigned functions
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • To lead and monitor the implementation of all projects
  • To ensure that all Engineering Standards are complied during the implementation of all projects
  • To be involved in the testing and commissioning of the project before full hand over to the production
  • To ensure that all projects are implemented as per schedule
  • To manage the contractors in terms of cost, quality work and SHE compliance
  • To ensure that the Permit to Work system is fully implemented
  • To submit Project Progress report

Technologist (Natural Rubber) (Johor)

Responsibilities:
  • The position is responsible for providing technical support to customers in the glove manufacturing industries or dipping industries.
  • The job functions involve interface with potential customer on new product promotion and provide technical advice on product development which meet customer quality and budgetary requirements.
  • He is also responsible on giving technical support to customer in relation to product performance and consistency.
Requirements:
  • Honours Degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science or related field.
  • 2-3 years hands-on experience in latex dipping, formulation, application testing are ideal.
  • Excellent communication skill with fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia and vernacular languages
  • Enjoy working with people from various levels and must be willing to relocate.

E&I/DCS ENGINEER (Johor - Kluang)

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the engineering, maintenance and improvement of the instrument equipment, plant control systems specifically the distributed control system (DCS & PLCs) and carrying out minor configurations and/or modification/programming to DCS system. 70% of Role is focused on Control Systems and 30% Instrument Engineering.
  • Identify and analyse plant engineering problem and recommend cost effective solutions to resolve them.
  • Develop procedures for the calibration and testing control and equipment according the Company’s Quality Management System, Site requirements and current Environment, Health & Regulation.
Maintenance Engineering
  • Identify and analyse plant engineering problems and recommend cost effective solutions to resolve them.
  • Develop the preventative maintenance plan to reduce breakdown situations.
  • Identify and improve procedures for maintenance of engineering plant for efficiency and safety.
  • Discuss any safety or production downtime critical mechanical issues with the Engineering Manager
  • Develop the spares, materials and consumable items stock holding strategy using the computerized maintenance management system.
  • Procure goods and services in the course of carrying out maintenance activities
  • Identify new suppliers for equipment, materials and services to reduce cost and improve service and quality.
  • Utilise the Computerized Maintenance Management System to achieve his objectives.
  • Ensures site instrumentation and control system documentation is maintained.
System Engineering
  • Develop and maintain the console and engineering/operating station Sub-Systems of the site distributed control system.
  • Carry out the development and maintenance of the Controller Sub-Systems of the site distributed control system and provide technical support.

Project Engineering

  • Estimate the cost of control, instrumentation and electrical equipment and its installation with the engineer responsible for the project, utilizing outside resources where necessary.
  • Supervise electrical, instrumentation and control equipment and system installation on the site, utilizing outside resources where necessary.
  • Ensure all control, and instrumentation equipment and systems are commissioned, utilizing outside resources where necessary.
  • Approve the work of outside engineers and technicians.
  • Ensure all production personnel are trained on new equipment and systems.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in line with the Company’s regulations, the Quality and Environmental Management System and current Health & Safety legislation

  • Handle import trade requirements as well as statutory regulations and requirements

Requirements:
  • Degree holder in science, engineering or business related studies with 1 to 2 years of working experience in a chemical industries

  • Proficient in key languages : English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin
