ESH ENGINEER
The ESH Engineer will be responsible overall for ESH matters during the commissioning of the projects, and upon completion, he/she will oversee ESH related activities during operations of the facility.

ESH ENGINEER
The ESH Engineer will be responsible overall for ESH matters during the commissioning of the projects, and upon completion, he/she will oversee ESH related activities during operations of the facility.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor ES&H regulation at both state and federal level to determine new or revised ESH regulations that are relevant to projects and the plant
- Liaise on audits as required by governmental agencies and corporate DOSH, DOE, BOMBA or Solutia ES&H
- Lead and assist the Kuantan ES&H Management System to meet specific plant and project needs and ensure compliance with regulatory, corporate and other arising requirements
- Lead and ensure ES&H training required by regulation and corporate policies for plant and project teams are planned and executed
- Maintain key ES&H documentation related to projects
- Promote the principles of Responsible Care when addressing ES&H activities
- Develop, review and update ES&H procedures
- Review ES&H audit reports and develop action plan and ensure completion
- Track and close Action Tracked
- Act as key contact for ES&H and assist in accomplishing goals & objective specified in Site Business Plan (SBP)
- Manage ES&H during project to achieve excellent ES&H performance and meet corporate requirements
- Lead and deal with all government agencies related to ES&H during projects
- Work closely with plant personnel for process understanding and obtain project related input
Requirements:
- Degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering
- At least 3 years’ experience in Occupational Safety & Health
- Knowledge of ES&H codes such as Responsible Care, NFPA, PSM, etc. will be an added advantage
- Familiar with OSHA Act 514, FMA Act 139, EQA, etc.
- Candidates with DOSH Director General approved Safety & Health Officer’s Registration Certificate will have an advantage
