Promoter Manager / Assistant Manager
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and manage an operations plan including performance criteria for better management, control and deployment of Promoters/Merchandisers in the sales regions
- Identify and implement new ways of working to improve performance that will meet company’s objectives and ensure efficient service delivery and sales
- Advise, coach Promoter Team Leaders and support the Area Sales Managers on management of Promoters/Merchandisers to ensure they are managed efficiently and effectively and in accordance with the company’s practices
- Manage the training budget, develop and implement training plans as appropriate to Promoters/Merchandisers in the sales regions
- Keep abreast of the external environment for emerging trends and best practices and advise Management as and when appropriate
- Review of strategies executed and identify next opportunities and / or issues
- Able to adapt to fast paced daily changing environment
- Strong passion in continuous improvement
Requirements
- Demonstrates positive business oriented mindset
- More than 5 years working experience in a FMCG environment with 2 years in a supervisory capacity
- Knowledge of Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act and government regulations would be an advantage
- High influencing, networking and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide leadership, coaching and motivation through constructive performance reviews
- Proficient in written and verbal English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Written and spoken Mandarin and other dialects would be an added advantage
- Computer literate
- Possess own transport
