PRODUCT SPECIALIST, TECHNOLOGY (Shah Alam Vacancy 2011)
- This is a newly created position within our organisation and we would like to seek candidates who have a strong desire to learn the features and benefits of our technology products and how it can help to provide solutions to our existing and potential consumers. The successful candidate will be fully exposed to both the selling and marketing aspects of the business and should also be someone who enjoys regular interaction and communication with consumers.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and size the opportunities to sell a range of DYMO’s professional and label writer
- Promote the brand by providing solution and support to end users with regular product demonstration, conduct training at site and provide after sales services
- Team-up with other field representatives and work closely with key distributors/office wholesalers to build identified opportunities
- Conduct training for sales staff of key distributors/office wholesalers on DYMO’s professional and label writer product knowledge
- Participate where possible at relevant trade events, end user fairs/exhibition to create brand awareness
Requirements:
- Degree in IT/Marketing/Business/Science disciplines
- 2-4 years experience in sales and marketing. Fresh graduates with a strong interest in technology based products are also encouraged to apply
- Excellent oral and written communication skills especially in English
- Able to interact with all levels of the organization
- Business driven and results-oriented
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Demonstrate good initiative, problem-solving skills and a strong desire to learn
