Engineer - Mechanical/Chemical/Instruments/Electrical (Johor, Singapore)
Responsibilities:
- Manage and implement engineering project works as outline by Head of Department ( HOD )
- To provide assistant and support for operations of the drafting dept
- To manage and provide guidance to employee on operational requirements
- To manage and supervise external vendors/contractors on project works and implementation
- Applying the principles of mass, momentum and heat transfer to process and equipment design, including conceptual, scheme and detail design
- Preparing reports, flow diagrams and charts
- Assessing the availability of raw materials and the safety and environmental impact of the plant
- Managing the cost and time constraints of projects
- Selecting, managing and working with sub-contractors
- Assuming responsibility for risk assessment, including hazard and operability (HAZOP) studies, for the health and safety of both company staff and the wider community
- Working closely with chemical engineers to monitor and improve the efficiency, output and safety of a plant
- Working closely with other specialists, including: scientists responsible for the quality control of raw materials, intermediates and finished products; engineers responsible for plant maintenance commercial colleagues on product specifications and production schedules; and the operating crew.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Chemical or Instruments or Electrical Engineering
- With 2 - 3 years working experience in Polymer/Chemical/Engineering background
- Possess expertise and experience in project management techniques and methodology
- Experience in design, engineering, project management, procurement, installation, testing and commissioning.
- Good communication (both verbal & written, Bahasa Malaysia and English), negotiation and conflict management skills
- Computer literacy in AutoCAD & MSOffice (Excel, Word, Power Point, Project)
