POSITION DESCRIPTION
Technical Engineer
Responsibilities :
- To assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating and implementing site activities
- For site supervisor - to assist the Technical Engineer on planning, coordinating & implementing
- For site supervisor - to supervise subcontractors and direct workers on daily activities
- To perform system termination, testing & commissioning of equipment before handover
- To monitor work progress and quality control
- To attend site/coordination meeting
- To liaise with sub-contractors
- To implement safety and health measures
- To ensure timely measurement of work done for progress payment claim/final account
- To ensure timely evaluation of sub contractors’ progress claim
- To ensure, coordinate and conduct necessary training to all subordinates
- To attend any other ad-hoc related tasks within the company as assigned by management.
- To train and explain on how to use the installed equipment
- To repair check-in equipment
Requirements :
- Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Civil Engineering / Building & Construction or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years working experience in construction industry/security installation industry
- Computer Literate and familiar with AUTOCAD & Microsoft Office
- Perform measurement for Site Valuation
- Self-Motivated & Independent
- Job involves preparation of Tender proposals for Construction, Mechanical and Electrical works, Bill of Quantities, Cost Control and Progress Claim
- Good command in English, Malay & Chinese
- Possess own transport
- Applicant must be willing to travel within KL & Selangor and other states travelling upon requested by the company.
