Boral Plasterboard (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is Malaysia’s leading supplier of plasterboard and related products, offering a range of innovative products and systems for commercial and residential ceiling and wall applications. Incorporated in 1985, BPM was the first plasterboard manufacturer in Malaysia and today offers fire-rated, acoustic, impact and moisture resistant partition and ceiling systems as well as a full range of manufactured board, ceiling tile and compound products.

BPM is a subsidiary of Lafarge Boral Gypsum Asia (LBGA), a joint venture between leading international building material companies Lafarge (France) and Boral (Australia). LBGA is Asia’s largest manufacturer of plasterboard (outside Japan) with production facilities in Malaysia, South Korea, China, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand and India, with additional distribution branches in Singapore, Philippines and UAE.
 

We are presently seeking dynamic, resourceful and committed individuals to join our market leading organisation based in our Subang Jaya, Selangor office.

TECHNICAL SALES

Key Responsibilities includes:

• Servicing of all facets of the project / retail segment of the Commercial / Residential market in the following :
• Ensure sales growth in the ceiling & partition market by marketing Boral / Lafarge plasterboard products & systems
• Specification for products, systems and solutions among industry influencers (architects, developers, builders, contractors)
• Translate Boral specifications into commercial sales through a strong representation in the commercial project procurement channel (main contractors and sub-contractors)
• Strong customer service focus

Actively seek new opportunities to promote and generate profitable sales :
* Identify new projects
* Maintain an awareness of building activity
* Introduce new systems 8, products
* Manage collection status
Gather market and participant data

Requirements:

• A degree in any related field
• Experience in building materials is an advantage as is experience in commercial project segment management (contacts with main contractors, sub-contractors, applicators)
• Proven capacity to work within a team, highly motivated, possess initiative
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with proven ability to value sell
• Ability to read technical drawings and competency in Microsoft Office software suite
• Possess own transport and willing to travel within Malaysia

MARKETING ANALYST – SENIOR

Key Responsibilities includes:

• Responsible for the preparation of monthly marketing reports and detailed analysis of sales and market trends
• Manage a series of management reports
• Review and liaise with external agencies and suppliers to ensure effective and efficient procurement of marketing and sales materials
• Support medium and long-term business planning through provision of data analysis and modelling
• Assist with marketing led promotions and events

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or professional qualification in a Marketing or general Business discipline
• Minimum of 3 years working experience in a marketing role
• Advanced Excel skills a must, with the ability to create and analyse reports, and demonstrable working history of such
• Highly motivated and willing to challenge themselves to achieve the company’s objectives and goals
• Experience in events and promotions management would be advantageous
• Experience in FMCG or building materials industry would be a distinct advantage
