HEAD OF FINANCE (2 POSITIONS BASED IN KUALA LUMPUR)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- manage and supervise the daily operations of the Finance Department covering the total spectrum of financial, management accounting, reports generation, treasury management and other accounting related functions; and – liaise with external parties on financial related matters
REQUIREMENTS:
- possess a professional accounting qualification;
- a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and other professional body (bodies);
- 8-10 years post qualification experience in financial and management reporting in the plantation/manufacturing industry;
- able to demonstrate understanding and application of Financial Reporting Standards (FRS);
- hands-on experience in financial and business applications, preferably SAP systems;
- team player with strong interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem solving skills; and
- excellent oral and written skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
FINANCE EXECUTIVE (3 POSITIONS BASED IN KUALA LUMPUR)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- provide accounting support;
- prepare monthly closing and full set of accounts;
- prepare balance sheet reconciliation for GL accounts, analysis and cost analysis as well as monitor miscellaneous transactions;
- perform tax computations and deferred tax computations;
- coordinate with team members on audit related issues which include internal and external audits;
- assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets and forecasts; and
- perform other relevant tasks assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- degree in Accountancy and/or currently a part-time student undertaking professional accounting papers;
- minimum 3 years experience in a similar capacity;
- experience as an external auditor from a reputable audit firm would be an added advantage:
- analytical, able to work under pressure and willing to take up challenges; and
- able to demonstrate understanding and application of Financial Reporting Standards (FRS)
